Djose Cloister of Trials
You’ll start in a room with two Djose Sphere’s in it. Take each of the two out and place them in the two slots in the door. The door will open up leading into the next room.
In the next room there are a few things you should observe:
Symbol of Yevon: On the floor is a symbol of Yevon, and your long-term goal of this puzzle is to light up all the pieces of this symbol.
Reset Switch: There is a reset switch off to the left of the symbol, just incase you do something stupid with the pedestal.
Djose Spheres: There are three Djose Sphere’s in this room. Two are in the back wall and one is in the pedestal in the middle of the room.
Go off to the right of the Yevon symbol. Here you will see two slots that are empty, and a green glyph up and to the right of those slots. Grab the two Djose Sphere’s out of the wall and place them in the two slots near the glyph (Note: Pieces of the Yevon symbol will go out as you do this). After this is done the pillar on the roof will light up. You must now push the pedestal in the middle of this room (with a Djose Sphere on it) underneath this pillar. The Djose Sphere will light up a green color.
Place the green Djose Sphere in the recess to the right of the door on the back wall to open the door. Inside this room is a pathway being blocked by a pit with an electric field in the center. Go back to where you charged the Djose Sphere into the green color and place both of the Djose Spheres that were in the wall on the pedestal. Now you must push the pedestal (with both Djose Spheres inserted into it) into the electric field in the next room. Use the reset switch off to the left of the Yevon symbol to re-align the pedestal to the doorway to the next room, and then push it in.
Having both Djose Spheres in the pedestal will cause it to get stuck in the field and hover in the middle of the pit, allowing you to jump on it to get across. Walk to the edge of the hole and press X (action) to get Tidus to jump across the pit. Once you get across there will be a pedestal that you can push back. Push it back to light up one part of the Yevon symbol.
Now go back to the previous room and step on the reset switch off to the left of the Yevon symbol once more to get the pedestal back into the middle of the room. Take the two Djose Spheres out of the pedestal and place them in the two recesses in the very first room of the Cloister of Trials, where you got the first two Djose Spheres. Doing so will light up two more parts of the Yevon symbol. To light up the very last piece of the Yevon symbol you must take the charged green Djose Sphere and place it in the recess to the right of the door on the back wall, instead of the left one, which it is already in. This will cause an elevator to appear leading you to the upper floor.
In this room you must push all of the five pedestals back into the crevasses to light up all of the rods on the roof. Once they are all pushed back a stairway will appear which will lead you up into the chamber of the fayth. The Destruction Sphere stuff has not been completed yet though.
Destruction Sphere: Start by taking the elevator back down to the lower level, and then head left of the Yevon symbol to where you pressed the reset switch. There will be a glyph on the wall that glows. Touch it to raise the wall and reveal the Destruction Sphere. Go back up the elevator once more and place the Destruction Sphere into the pedestal just in front of you to destroy a wall to the right, revealing a chest. Inside the chest you’ll find a free Magic Sphere. You’ve just completed the Djose Cloister of Trials. Go up the stairs to the right to continue.
