Final Fantasy VII

Underwater Reactor

Make your way to Junon and use the elevator to get from Under Junon to the upper levels. The elevator is at the northwest end of town. No dolphin rides this time. The only thing it costs you is 10 gil.

Halfway through Junon Cloud will point out that something seems to be missing from Junon.  Gee, I wonder what it could be? Continue on down the pathway until you arrive at the center, where the road goes down and you can hear a guard whistling. Follow them down into the Underwater Reactor.

You’ll have to fight two guards in the elevator, and two more at the ground floor. Continue down the pathway until you reach the save point. Save your game and head through the doorway for another elevator trip.

Location of Junon on the main map.

Continue down the underwater tube towards the reactor. Press the button on the other end of the wall for yet another elevator trip. When you get to the bottom you will have to cross one more hallway and pass a save point (I recommend saving again).

Talk to the soldiers as you pass through the Underwater Reactor. The first two you fight are Submarine Soldiers, just a regular Shinra soldiers. After those two you will have to fight two Underwater Soldiers (they are yellow in color. If you get the chance, steal from them. A successful steal will yield some rare Shinra Alpha armor.

In the next room you will be stopped along the platform for a short scene. Head through the door on the right and you will be forced into battle against Carry Armor.

Tube towards the Underwater Reactor.

Carry Armor

This boss can be rather tough, but like most bosses, the regular precautions can solve any problems you may encounter. Starting the battle full limit break bars full is a good start, and making sure all of your parties health bars are full as well. Carry Armor will use a move called Lapis Laser often, which hits each party member for over 1500 damage, so make sure to keep your party members full up. Use moves that will hit the arms as well if he happens to grab one of your party members. Ultima, regular green Materia with an All attached, limit breaks, just make sure you keep nailing Carry Armor while you’re going for his arms.

Carry Armor is a pretty tough boss.

HP: 24,000 (Arms: 10,000)
Reward: God's Hand

After the battle go left and grab the Battle Trumpet out of the chest. Then head to the sub all the guards are standing on. Two more chests can be found to the left of the ramp leading up to the submarine. One contains a Scimitar and the other contains Leviathan Scales, a key item that will let you pass through the flames in Wutai. Head up the ramp and start fighting your way through the guards.
