Exit the house and make your way to the fork in the path. The team will discuss which way Sephiroth went and Cloud will have a flashback showing you the direction to take. Follow that path to the spiral stairs. Before you make your way up the staircase go around it on its left side and circle around it to the right side to find a chest containing the Viper Halberd.
Travel up to the top of the shell and then walk on the outside of it to get around to the next room. Press select to show the entrances and exits of the screen to make it clear where to head.
Once inside the cave, walk back to the second crack in the cave. Walk into it and you’ll be able to climb up to the next level. Choose to get off on the left side, and continue up the other crack along that pathway. When it asks you to pick a side, pick one, but then jump back into the crack and choose to continue upwards to the chest containing a Bolt Armlet. Go back down the crack to the level below and get off to the right. Go down at the crack on the other end to the platform with the chest below and grab the HypnoCrown (an accessory that increases Manipulation rate). Climb up to the last chest and pick up the Megalixir. Hop over to the left side of this level and continue up the crack. Jump on the ladder and choose to go down. At the bottom is a Magic Plus Materia. Climb the ladder to the top floor and head through the door. Don’t forget to pick up the Power Source in the chest and exit the cave using the doorway at the top of the screen.
Make your way to the Icicle Inn from the cave exit.
