This sidequest is for obtaining Leviathan Materia and Yuffie's Level 4 Limit Break.

If you are on disc 2 you will have to go through the pain of having your Materia stolen when entering Wutai and trying to get it back. Click here for more information on getting it back. From disc 3 on you won’t have to go through that. Make sure Yuffie is on your team and head to the pagoda at the very back of Wutai. Equip Yuffie will all the best stuff you can get on her. Some things you should consider throwing on her:

- HP Plus Materia (more than one if you have room)
- Restore Materia
- Heal Materia
- Counter Attack Materia

Talk to the man at the back of the pagoda to get things rolling.

Gorkii

Gorkii’s attack set is pretty standard. Using Barrier and Regen are the only thing that make him different from normal enemies. If you have a leveled up Materia use DeBarrier to take the Barrier off and then just use standard attacks to bring him down. Gorkii’s power will be used up fast, so outlasting him is an option.

Shake

This boss will put you into Fury, which will cause you to take more damage (and charge limit breaks faster). If you find this giving you trouble or think it might, equip one of your Peace Rings to nullify this status effect. His attacks come quick, but he’s really weak, and it won’t take many hits to bring him down, especially with a Counter Attack Materia equipped. The chances of it being triggered are heightened with how many attacks he throws your way.

Chekov

Standard attacks will bring this boss down FAST. With only 5000 HP it doesn’t take many hits. Her attacks are few and far between two. This boss is a pushover.

Staniv

The “Master of Weaponry” is another terribly easy fight. He only uses standard attacks, no surprises, and only has 6000 HP. Another pushover. Again, Counter Attack makes it a cakewalk.

Godo

This bosses most powerful attack is Trine. It’s a lightning based attack, so equipping any armor or accessories that negate lightning attacks. He also uses Gravity from time to time, so by equipping an Elemental Materia and pairing it with Gravity on Yuffie's armor, you can negate that too. Standard attacks are all you need to finish off the fight from there.

At the end of the battle you'll receive Yuffie's final Limit Break, All Creation, as well as Leviathan Summon Materia.
