Welcome to the inside of Lord Jabu-jabu's belly. One of the most annoying dungeons in the game. Let’s just say you’ll be celebrating when you get this one out of the way.
In the first room, from where you start, you’ll notice a yellow switch on the roof. Nail it with your slingshot and the door at the back of the room will open up. Just follow the trail around through this next room.
The room your in now has a bunch of holes in the floor, that all lead into the room below. The one your going to want to fall through is the same one the Princess jumps through. Talk to her again when you get to her on the bottom floor. Then talk to her again.
Now you have to carry her out. Never leave her behind, and never let her drown, or you get to start again. By "Start again" I mean she will return to this point of the dungeon, this exact location, and when you meet up with her again she'll bitch about you leaving her behind. Walk through the door right behind you and start your long trek with the Princess. Dodge the bubbles, then drop into the pool below and throw the Princess up on the far side ledge. Then step on the switch and climb on to the ledge where you threw the Princess.
Pick up the Princess and continue down the passageway. The next door needs to be unlocked, and you do that by hitting the switch with your slingshot again. In the next room, a platform will come down, after some time. Set the Princess down (you may feel like throwing her), and guard yourself from the enemy shooting you until the platform comes, then pick her up and board. The enemy will hide when you jump on the platform, so fear not his shots.
Go back into the room where you first met the Princess. Then go through the door in the back of this room. Head to the far right passage. Use the Princess as extra weight to push the switch down. Then carry her in. Drop the Princess at the front door and take care of the Enemies. Walk near them and they will pop out, and then just shoot them with your Slingshot, Your awesome reward is the Boomerang!
Pick the Princess back up; head out, and this time go down the far left corridor. Something needs to hold this switch down, so drop the Princess on it. Use your Boomerang on this enemy, first remember to Z or L target it. Just hit it each time it comes down. You get the Dungeon Map for completing. Go back outside and Princess Ruto will whine about you leaving her behind. At least she didn’t leave. She will head back to start if you leave her behind under any circumstance other than on that switch. Pick her up again and go down the other corridor down this left wing. There used to be something blocking it, but now its gone. In this room you have to kill all the bubbles under forty seconds. Do it with the Boomerang, it’s not too difficult. Your reward is the Compass.
Next head out and go back down the Right side, towards where you got the Boomerang, only this time, right before the Boomerang room, take a left. That room also used to be guarded, but isn’t anymore.
In this room you have to take out another one of those slimy things with your Boomerang. Just target and fire away. Your reward will appear to be nothing, but if you go outside and head down the center corridor, you’ll notice it is now unblocked. In the center corridor room you’ll find a bunch of enemies that all make good Boomerang targets. Take them out and proceed. When you’re done, pick up the princess and back out to the main room, where you met the Princess. There used to be one of those slimy things guarding one of the holes, and now its gone. So drop through that hole. It’s the North West one, far north but not the farthest.
Once you drop through you can head through the door behind you. This is a boss room. You get to ditch the bitch right off the start, as her jewel, the Spiritual Stone of Water that you need, is on the mantelpiece in the middle of the room. Throw her up, as she asks you to, and proceed.
You have to hit the Octopus in the back with your Boomerang, and then it will show you its weak spot, so attack its weak spot with your sword. Enough hits will eventually kill it. Then ride the platform to the top, and go out this rooms only entrance.
In this next room just hit the moving pink block thingy’s with your Boomerang and they will be stunned, turning them into regular blocks. Then you can jump across them to make it to the other side. It’s probably best to take out the enemy who shoots at you before you try and jump the platforms.
In this room you will see a platform attached to the other side of the room. Jump across to it and it will take you back down to a room your familiar with.
In order to get into the only door in that room you haven’t been through you need to grab one of the boxes on the far sidewall and set it on the switch. Jump on it first, then drop the box.
Take out the jellyfish in this next room. They can become a big pain in the ass, as you have to climb the walls right after, then climb the wall to the top and look straight ahead. You will see a switch, which is blocked from straight on, so just use your Boomerang to nail it from the side. Stand right where you are throw, and if it doesn’t make it just reposition yourself on that top platform. Once you hit it head through the newly opened door into the boss room.
Barinade:
Start by picking off the little connectors connecting the Barinade to the roof. The Boomerang is your newly acquired weapon and for this boss you need to use it. Most of the time it will work. Once you get all three connectors the Jellyfish will start circling the Barinade. Once they do hit the Barinade with your Boomerang and it will be paralyzed. Then you can whack it a few times with your sword. Throw in your Boomerang until you get a shot in, and then start to take out the Jellyfish surrounding the Barinade. After all the Jellyfish are gone, hit it with your Boomerang once more and it will be paralyzed, again, whack it with your sword. Repeat to defeat.
Congratulations, you’ve completed Inside Lord Jabu-jabu's Belly. Princess Ruto will be waiting for you inside the warp. She’ll reward you with the Zora’s Sapphire.
Time to make your way to the Temple of Time.
