Big Goron's Sword

The Big Goron's Sword quest chain takes a lot of work and patients to complete. The reward is a useful but unnecesary weapon that is much more powerful than links normal sword. Here is how to get it:

1)

Make your way to Kakariko Village and talk to the woman that gave you the bottle. She will give you the Pocket Cucco. It hatches at Sunrise.

2)

In one of the nearby houses you will find Talon, use the Cucco to wake him up. Take the happy Cucco back to the woman who gave it to you. She'll give you a valuable Cucco called Cojiro.

3)

Warp to the Lost Woods and get to where the Skullkid used to be (First left from the entrance). Give Cojiro to the guy in that room and he will give you the Odd Mushroom.

4)

Run the Odd Mushroom back to the old lady in Kakariko Village. Hookshot onto her roof (blue), jump down, and find the door on the other side of the house.

5)

Take the Old Potion back to the guy in the Lost Woods by warping there. He won't be there, but you can give it to the Kokirian who is there now and she'll give you the mans Saw.

6)

Take the saw to the Master Carpenter. He can be found in the Gerudo Valley, which you can get to by heading as far West as possible on the main map of Hyrule. When you get to the broken bridge you can either use Epona to jump across or use your hookshot. Give him his saw and he'll give you a Broken Goron's Sword.

7)

Go to the top of Death Mountain by warping to the Death Mountain Crater. Take the top path out by heading out the entrance to the South. You should be where you found the first Great Fairy. Talk to the Big Goron who's just off to the side of the screen. Give him the sword and he'll tell you to bring back Eye Drops. Take the prescription he gives you to the Zora King.

8)

Unfreeze the Zora King by either purchasing Blue Fire or by getting some blue fire in the forth room of the Ice Temple, located in the Zora's Fountain. Give the prescription to the Zora King and he'll give you the Eyeball Frog.

9)

Rush the Eyeball Frog to the doctor at the lakeside laboratory near Lake Hylia. He will turn it into the World's Finest Eye Drops. Rush them all the way up Death Mountain to the Big Goron. Warping is not allowed for this portion of the quest.

10)

After using the Eye Drops the Goron will give you the Claim Check for your sword. It takes three days to make, so I suggest you use the "Sun's Song" to speed things up a little. The Big Goron's Sword is now yours.
