Mirrored courses will become available after you successfully complete the Gold Cup 150cc class.The title screen will also have a new picture.

Course ghost racers:

Ghosts exist on a few of the tracks in Mario Kart 64 for you to test your skill against. Enter Time Trial mode and after you manage to get the times listed below the ghost will be unlocked.
